Ann Cooper Wins Distinguished Service Award

Drew, Cooper & Anding Wins Verdict for Local Business Against Chase Bank
On May 23, 2006, John Anding and his Drew, Cooper & Anding trial team began a ten (10) day trial against JPMorgan Chase Bank ("Chase") on behalf of a local business man, Art Bott. During the case Mr. Anding argued to the Jury that Chase had wrongfully taken millions of dollars in property belonging to Mr. Bott. On June 6, 2006, following presentation of ten witnesses and over 100 exhibits, the Jury awarded Mr. Bott $1,180,358.16 in damages. The Court also ordered Chase to pay interest and attorney fees, which brought the total judgment amount to an excess of $2,000,000.
Drew Cooper & Anding Secures a $36 Million Jury Verdict for Its Client, Venture Industries
In November of 2007, Drew, Cooper & Anding secured final appellate victory for its client Venture Industries against Autoliv ASP, a Swedish airbag manufacturer, in the United States Circuit Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit in Washington, DC. Attorney John Anding and his team handled all stages of the case, beginning with the trial in late 2003, which resulted in a jury verdict of $27.5 million in Venture's favor, and through several appeals to the Federal Circuit, the latest of which concluded with Autoliv's payment of roughly $36 million, an amount which includes the initial jury verdict plus interest.
